Frequently Asked Questions of Salt Lake FC
A: The soccer seasonal year begins with tryouts in June of the current calendar year and ends in May of the following year. (Some teams may also opt to participate in winter futsal/indoor and/or tournaments; talk to your coach to find out more.)
A: No, because Utah Youth Soccer, US Youth Soccer and District 2/Region 4 UYSA require that all fees be paid up front.
A: Your son/daughter's fees are payable one week after tryouts.
A: For players demonstrating need, SLFC offers several options for club and team fundraisers. SLFC does not offer scholarships to its players.
A: Your son/daughter's fees per year are calculated according to the head coach's wishes for the particular team your son/daughter is playing for. Fees usually range at about half of what most UYSA competition soccer teams charge, approx. $230-$300 per player. The club believes in keeping costs as low as possible, while maintaining a high standard of quality on both the training ground and during matches.
A: Yes. Because of the club's need to provide items such as cones, nets, corner flags, balls and other items, as well as painting supplies and field rental, SLFC must charge its members a reasonable club fee to maintain a high standard of quality.
